A chartered certified accountant and economist, Govinda began his career at Pricewaterhouse in the field of assurance and business advisory. As an audit senior, Govinda was responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of audits, accounting, tax strategy, business monitoring and strategic assignments in the Caribbean and Latin America mainly in the natural resources and financial services sectors. Having been a duty manager at Hilton and financial controller at The Lanesbourgh, Govinda joined PKF in London in 2005 and since then has undertaken, and led, financial due diligence, modelling, market studies, valuations, strategic, financial and economic impact assessments associated with projects in the hotel/resort, entertainment and leisure sectors in the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. In 2012 he joined Christie & Co as head of business development - consultancy.
